Vertical Platform Lift for Travis Perkins Builders Merchants

We have undertaken a recent installation at Travis Perkins Building Merchants, which was very successful, for both our company and our client.

We undertook the challenge of installing a vertical platform lift for Travis Perkins Builders Merchants at their premises in St Pancras Way, London. This lift was a vital addition to the company’s operations, as it was necessary for meeting various regulations and requirements as well as for assisting the smooth operation of all aspects of the business.

In particular, the vertical platform lift was necessary in order to ensure that the building in which they operate complies fully with the requirements of UK building regulations. Specifically, the lift enables them to meet requirements set out in Building Regulations Approved Document M, which deals with issues of usage and access for the disabled under the Equality Act 2010.

The installation of the vertical platform lift was also needed in order to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), providing practical access to the building for people of all abilities, whether they are staff or visitors to the company.

The vertical platform lift installed here is just one option from our range. You can view other options from our Vertical Platform Lift range here.
