Scenic Lift Company
For the majority of lift journeys we take, the aim is to get from one location to another as quickly as possible. When taking a scenic lift, the goal is entirely different; the destination is far less important than the pleasure of the journey itself. Scenic lifts offer passengers the experience of a bird’s-eye view; whether it’s a stunning cityscape, a sumptuous interior, or a panoramic ocean vista.
The Scenic Lift Passenger Cabin
The scenic lift requires one or more glass sides in order to reveal its view to passengers. The glass lift cabin is quite the opposite to the interior version we’re all familiar with; the glass provides a sense of extended space and luminosity. Often scenic lifts are designed as a self-supporting glass structure which look pleasingly elegant, and entirely contemporary.
Bespoke Scenic Lifts Designed by Experts
The Tower Lifts design team work with clients to create bespoke scenic lift installations. Our goal is always to develop a beautiful looking glass lift which is simultaneously high performance and durable enough to withstand the high footfall it will inevitably attract. Ultimately, we work towards the perfect panoramic reveal as a seamless and high quality experience for every passenger.

A Range of Scenic Lifts
Whilst the concept of the scenic lift is a constant, there are numerous ways of achieving it. At Tower Lifts we offer a range of options that can be utilised in the creation of the perfect panoramic lift for your location:
- Curved Glass – the curved glass scenic lift provides the feel of a 360 degree view to passengers. The view, and the quality of light, is enhanced by the curvature of the glass and every passenger is able to enjoy the vista.
- 2 or 3 Side Scenic Lift – in this option the glass panels are flat, and are encased in stainless steel frames. The shape is more traditional, and the view is not unrestrained as with the curved glass lift.
- Glass-Bottomed Lift – this option is becoming more and more popular, although it’s not for the faint-hearted! The glass-bottomed lift is perfect if you offer a location with a dramatic view below the feet of your passengers, such as cliffs, or a busy market or shopping area.
Scenic Lifts Provide a Luxurious Ride
Whilst the choice of cabin model is important, so are the design accessories. The positioning of your cabin will determine whether you use tinted or clear glass. Our Tower Lift designers offer options on each element of the lift cabin, including lifts doors, grips, control panel and roof. Every lift we design combines stringent health and safety controls, with stylish elegance.
