Raising the standards of education with a Passenger Lift In London’s Seven Kings High School

We’re very pleased to announce our latest project, the installation of a passenger lift in London’s Seven Kings High School.

This great opportunity comes off the back of some previous work we completed for the London Borough of Redbridge Council, installing a passenger lift at Glade Primary School, so we were delighted when they got back in touch to request some further work from us at the Seven Kings site.

This installation project comes amid a demand for passenger lifts in London. Our passenger lifts are particularly popular because of the fact that they are Part M Compliant. They are the perfect solution in situations where there are pit and headroom restrictions, and because of this are easier to install because fitting them involves less preliminary building work. This is especially important in the Capital because of the many listed and historically significant buildings which are restricted by planning regulations.

As a dedicated teaching school, with a strong emphasis on inclusion for all students regardless of physical or mental abilities, Seven Kings and Redbridge Council wanted to ensure there was clear access all areas of the school. The installation of this robust, spacious passenger lift does just this, providing a long-term solution for multi-floor access for students, staff and visitors alike.
