- Service & Trolley Lifts – Unlike passenger lifts, these often require much shallower pits and lower headroom. This makes them ideal for back-of-house corridors or basements with ceiling constraints.
- Goods Only vs. Goods Attendant – You’ll need to decide if staff need to travel with the goods in the lift. A “Goods Attendant” lift allows a porter to travel with the luggage cart, saving trips up and down stairs, whereas a “Goods Only” lift is strictly for the cargo.
