Case Study – New Goods Lift for Converted Beaconsfield Garage

Beaconsfield Motors on the Penn Road was owned by the Yolland family back in the 1960s. In fact you can see the owner proudly standing by the pumps in this photo from Beaconsfield Historical Society. The goods lift is manufactured with twin loading gates, fitted with perspex panels on each of two stops. These have a magnetic interlock system which means that the gates can only operate in concert with the lift controls. Should the loading gates be open, on any level, the lift won’t operate.
